During the academic year 2019/2020, students of Latvian higher education institutions participated in the 30th Latvian Universiade, competed in 9 different sports disciplines. Competitions were held among male and female teams. Overall, Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) took 6th place in the 30th Latvian Universiade.

Latvian students / athletes are invited to participate in the 30th World Winter Universiade, which will take place from 21 to 31 January 2021, in Lucerne, Switzerland. The application is extended until 14/06/2020.
