RoboScan is a remotely controlled robotic platform designed to collect 3D object data for construction site analysis. It uses LIDAR technology and an NVIDIA Jetson processor to scan and process construction environments, transmitting data to the cloud for visualization and export. This solution reduces costs and labor intensity compared to traditional 3D scanning methods while enhancing safety by minimizing human presence in hazardous areas. By integrating advanced digitization into construction planning, RoboScan improves efficiency, risk assessment, and infrastructure maintenance.
