Since January 2019 Transport and Telecommunication Institute started long-term cooperation with foreign professor Eftychia Nathanail from Greece. In the mid of March 2019 Eftychia Nathanail came to Riga and is delivering the course “Decision Making Methodologies” for various students’ groups in the study direction “Transport Services”, as well as for students of the master programme “Aviation Management”. The course aims to help students to understand the basic decision making methodologies by exploring different characteristics and features of each one and demonstrate how these can be applied in real life problems.
E.Nathanail is invited to cooperate with Transport and Telecommunication Institute in the frame of the European Union Social Fund project “Strengthening Transport and Telecommunication Institute Academic Staff in the Areas of Strategic Specialisation” (No 8.2.2.0/18/A/011).
Till 5 March 2019 the open call for foreign academic staff is launched, and TTI is open to start new cooperation. More information about the open call can be found in the Section Vacancy.
The total cost of the two-year project is 676,083.35 euros, of which the European Social Fund supports 574,670.85 euros (85%), and the state budget amounts to 101,412.50 euros (15%).
