On April 8-9, 2024, in Almaty (Kazakhstan) was held the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “The paradigm of sustainable economic development in the conditions of global changes: calls, consequences, opportunities”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Higher School of Economics and Business of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi (https://farabi.university/?lang=en/).
Professor of the TSI, Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Jurijs Tolujevs was the guest of honor of the section with the title “Transformation of business technologies in the context of sustainable development: opportunities and prospects”. Professor Tolujev’s report was entitled “Universal Digital Model of Material Flow in a Transport Corridor”. This model can serve as a basis for optimization of cargo transportation processes in real transport corridors passing through the territory of several countries. Professor Tolujev’s report aroused great interest among the conference participants, as railway transportation through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an important component of the Middle Corridor passing through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
