With a successful session performance, TSI students not only get important achievements in their studies, proving their knowledge and skills, but this time they will also be able to get a unique opportunity to acquire new competences and professional certificates, which will serve as a valuable addition in their resume and career – for free.
Coursera courses include learning lessons in a variety of fields, such as computer science, humanities, business and economics, data science, information technology, mathematics, engineering, social sciences, and more. Typically, Coursera certificates require a monthly fee.
TSI is the first university in Latvia to sign an agreement with the global learning platform Coursera and this year TSI announces a unique competition for TSI students, within the framework of which students with the best results in the winter session will be awarded with Coursera licences and will be able to obtain certificates and new competencies for free.
The purpose of the competition is to promote students’ motivation to obtain deeper qualifications and aspire for better study results, acquiring additional professional skills – thus becoming more competitive and demanded in the job market.
The results of the competition will be available in the Study Department in February.
