Congratulations to all of our students, employees, and instructors on the celebration of the May holidays and we wish everyone a wonderful holiday mood!
In Latvia, on May 1st we celebrate the convening of the Constitutional Assembly of the Republic of Latvia, when the first session of the Constitutional Assembly of the Republic of Latvia convened on May 1, 1920, which later drafted the supreme law of the state – the Constitution (Satversme).
As well as, May 1st is internationally celebrated as Labour Day and a holiday globally perceives the achievements of the labour movement for social and economic achievements.
On May 4th, we proudly join the people of Latvia on celebrating the Day of the Restoration of Latvian Independence, a momentous occasion marking the nation’s journey towards freedom and self-determination. Every year on this significant date, Latvians around the world come together to commemorate the restoration of their independence, which was proclaimed on May 4, 1990. From strengthening democratic institutions to fostering economic prosperity and cultural vibrancy, Latvia continues to thrive as a proud member of the international community.
On this important day, we extend our warmest congratulations and heartfelt wishes to the people of Latvia, both at home and abroad. May this day be filled with joy and pride!
