The tragic events in Ukraine are deeply regretted in many countries from around the world. As announced earlier, the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) is supporting Ukrainian students and their families.
The Strategic Partner of TSI – UWE Bristol, the University of the West of England, supports us in this endeavour. In order to contribute to the support of the Ukrainian people, UWE Bristol is providing financial support and expanding the number of TSI grants for the studies at Telematics and Logistics PhD programme for two more applicants, who are Ukrainian citizens.
Students from Ukraine with a Master’s degree can apply for grants for doctoral studies, with topics in priority research areas:
- Application of artificial intelligence in logistics and transport tasks
- Computer vision
- Digitalization of processes and digital twins
The grant from UWE Bristol, provides full coverage of the tuition fee of the TSI PhD programme for students from Ukraine, for the entire period of study – 3 academic years.
“On behalf of the university I can thank the Institute for giving us an opportunity to support Ukrainian scientists. TSI’s rapid response in establishing this grant scheme is welcomed by the university and is confirmation that we are working with a like-minded institute.” – Tod Burton, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Environment & Technology at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), commented.
