Students of TSI’s bachelor’s programmes Business and Management, Computer Science, double degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and Robotics visited our business partners MSC Shared Service Center Riga, which provides remote business support to MSC’s offices in more than 50 countries worldwide. MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is a world leader in global container transportation and a key market player in Latvia.
During the meeting, the IT manager (RPA/Automation), Svetlana Stewart, introduced the students with the company, and talked about Robotic Process Automation technologies, or RPA, why it is so popular today, and gave an overview of the RPA market and future trends. Then the senior HR specialist Liga Luca presented the students with 7 reasons to join the MSC Shared Service Center Riga team. The tour at the office premises and the opportunity to see the daily life of the company with Liga Luca and Vasilisa Rinkeviča were students’ favourite part of the visit.
