On April 14, TSI students had a unique opportunity to visit the Riga Universal Terminal, located on the territory of the Port of Riga, and learn more about how such a large-scale and extensive complex is organized.
1st and 2nd-year students of the programmes ” Transport and Business Logistics” and “Business and Management” were able to gain valuable knowledge obtaining the presentation about the terminal operation, held by the member of the Board and Deputy CEO of the Riga Universal Terminal – Fiona Koe Peck Hoon.
Also, TSI students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the territory of the terminal and find out how exactly the acceptance of cargo is held – the process itself and the documentation.
Students also acquired the most nowadays-relevant knowledge, becoming familiar with how modern economic circumstances affect the operation of the terminal.
