On behalf of the Organising Committee, we inform that accordance to the current measures against spread of the COVID-19 by the Government of Latvia, The 20th International Multidisciplinary Conference “Reliability and Statistics in Transportation and Communication” (RelStat-2020) will now be held remotely on 15-16 October 2020.
This year the RelStat conference, organized by the Transport and Telecommunications Institute, have 20th year anniversary and its fame is growing every year. In 2000, when it was first held, it was attended by scientists from only two countries – Latvia and Lithuania, last year the participants represented 19 countries.
All these years, the conference provided an opportunity not only to present their own research to scientists, but also delighted the participants with scientific discussions and interpersonal communication and, of course, cultural events. This year, the Organising Committee of the conference, taking care of the safety of all participants, guests and society in general, decided that the remote format is the only possible option for holding the event under the existing circumstances in the world.
We believe, that the conference in a virtual format will also be held with a high-quality and lively discussion of the latest research results, ideas, technologies, as well as all theoretical and practical questions can be asked in a remote format. Please note that based on the results of their works, participants will receive an invitation to publish their articles in the collection of Springer.
All information on organizational issues and practical aspects of holding the conference remotely will be provided in the near future. Do not hesitate to contact us in case of any questions or concerns you have. More information about conference and participant fees are here
