Today, on December 5, Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) Professor, Dr.sc.ing. Irina Yatskiv was awarded with the Cabinet of Ministers’ Certificates of Appreciation for her longstanding and significant contributions to the development of higher education and research in the field of transport in Latvia. The prestigious award was awarded by the Minister of Transport, Kaspars Briškens.
The solemn awarding took place during the forum “Well-being and Women in Transport”, organized by the association “Women in Transport.” Professor I. Yatskiv is a member of the board and one of the founders of this association. Her work has significantly contributed not only to the advancement of the industry but also to strengthening the role of women in the transport sector.
