Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) instructors Jelena Revzina and Jelena Baranova took part in the NetAcad Europe North Instructor Training 2021 project, as a result they completed their training, successfully passed exams, and became Cisco DevNet Associate accredited course instructors.
The study took place remotely and very intensively, in the international center of support for Academy Belgian IT Academy Support Center (BiASC).
DevNet is an interesting and very useful course that combines programming, automation and computer networking. The DevNet Associate course introduces modern software development methodologies and tools used in ICT:APIs, microservices, containers, DevOps, and more.
Students who complete the course gain existent practical experience in Python programming, using GIT, working with popular file formats: JSON, XML, and YAML, deploying container-based applications, continuous integration of CI/CD, and automating infrastructure with code. The course prepares students for a professional life in software development and infrastructure automation and provides the opportunity to prepare for the DevNet Associate certification exam: 200-901 DEVASC.
