iDEAHUB is waiting applications for innovation projects competition till April 24th!

iDEAHUB, the innovation center of Transport and Telecommunication Institute announces competition of innovation projects’ applications – we invite you to get acquainted with the OPEN CALL DOCUMENTS and apply for a consultation by writing to ideahub@tsi.lv .

ANY STUDENT at a university, high school, vocational school or college can apply for the competition. To apply, you must choose an innovation idea from the Idea Bank or offer your own idea. A successful project requires the creation of a team, as well as the mandatory selection of a supervisor. Registered users of the iDEAHUB portal have access to the LIST OF SUPERVISORS, IDEA BANK and several other benefits and information.

iDEAHUB focus on three main domains:

  • Information and Communication Technologies
  • Digital Society and Transformation
  • Smart Logistics and Transport

We invite all students to register on the iDEAHUB portal – you will be informed about the news, find team members, and receive support in creating and implementing your projects!

iDEAHUB activities supported withing European Regional Development Fund project “Transport and Telecommunication Institute Innovation Grants for Students” / iDEAHUB (project ID No 1.1.1.3/21/A/006).

The project aims to promote the implementation of student innovation applications, which develops students’ innovation capacity and entrepreneurship skills, solves problems important to the society or its part, strengthens cooperation of universities and students with entrepreneurs and attracts private funding for the implementation of the Student Innovation Programme.

The project involves several partners from NGOs, industry (more than 20 companies), public sector, universities and research institutions.

It is planned to implement 20 student innovation projects, attracting competitive and new technology-supporting businesses in several sectors.

The project will be implemented until 30 November 2023 and foresees investments of EUR 543 024.91, of which the European Regional Development Fund supports EUR 461 571.17 (85%) and private funding is EUR 81 453.74 (15%).
