Many generations of science fiction authors and futurists have dreamed and described artificial intelligence (AI) in their novels, series and speeches. And even if we have not reached the heights that science fiction authors and futurists spoke about, our time is truly a triumph of the human mind. Right now, AI has gone beyond the walls of labs and scientific centers in order to find its applications in all areas of human activity, from robotic vacuum cleaners, which can be bought in any home appliance store, to various types of autopilot transport. But there are still many brilliant discoveries and achievements in this area ahead, so specialists who are able to understand and develop technologies related to the AI industry are in demand as never before.
The Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) in cooperation with UWE, is implementing a double degree program with a specialization in AI, preparing a new generation of AI specialists and researchers, and also popularizing the STEM education among pupils.
If you want to know more about what really is AI, what problems it can solve, how it is used in various fields, why some scientists believe that “real” AI cannot be created, join the TSI online event on Thursday, April 22, 2021 and find out the answers to these and many other questions.
