Next week, on May 23rd, the XXVI International Conference “TransBaltica 2024” will take place online, where industry experts will discuss topics such as trends and perspectives in the international transport and transit market, the future of the Baltic transit industry, European transport infrastructure projects, as well as the impact of various sanctions.
For many years, TSI has been a co-organizer of this conference and an active participant. This year, TSI’s Vice-Rector for Academic & Research, Professor Dr. Sc. Ing. Mihails Savrasovs, will share his knowledge on the topic “Reskilling and Upskilling: Preparing the Workforce for the Future of Transport.” Additionally, the Head of TSI’s Research Administration Department, Associate Professor Dr. Sc. Ing. Evelīna Budiloviča, will discuss the future of mobility, trends, and challenges.
Furthermore, the Head of the Aviation Department at the Ministry of Transport, TSI’s lecturer in double degree master’s programme in Aviation Management and Sustainability, Ph.D. Artūrs Kokars, will address the development and strategic goals of the Latvian aviation industry.
