Students from the Transport and Telecommunication Institute’s Bachelor’s Double Degree program in Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence are taking a big step forward with the first international trip to UWE Bristol within the programme. From March 9th to 15th, 2025, this week promises a rich blend of academic, research, and cultural experiences at UWE’s Frenchay Campus.
Throughout the week, the students will take part in:
Workshops and Research Sessions: They’ll attend a series of specialized sessions focused on the latest AI applications and an advanced workshop on artificial intelligence led by UWE experts.
Mini-Project Development: Throughout the week, students will collaborate on a mini-project with guidance from UWE faculty and student ambassadors, wrapping up with a final presentation and award ceremony.
Exploring Innovation: Visits to UWE’s School of Engineering, the immersive CAVE facility, and the renowned Bristol Robotics Lab will provide insights into cutting-edge technology. Building Global Partnerships
This visit strengthens the long-standing partnership between TSI and UWE Bristol, creating valuable cross-border learning opportunities. The visit combines hands-on learning with free time for sightseeing, including trips to Bristol’s cultural hotspots and activities like the Concorde Museum and a Banksy art tour.
