Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) we were honored to host a distinguished delegation from Azerbaijan:
- Assoc. Prof. Vazeh Askarov, Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU)
- Dr. Latifa Nasibova, Director of Azerbaijan-French University at ASOIU
- Rafiq Aliyev, Director of ASOIU and Dual Diploma Program at the University of Warwick
- Orxan Kerimzade, Lector and project manager in renewable energy
Therefore among the distinguished guests were H.E. Elnur Sultanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Latvia and First Secretary Baxtiyar Musayev.
During the meeting, TSI Rector Juris Kanels introduced the guests to the possibilities of potential cooperation in the academic and research fields. Throughout the discussion, the representatives of the universities exchanged experiences in working with double degree programmes and discussed the possibilities of organizing joint projects for students for both universities. The delegation also visited TSI modern laboratories and Aviation Centre, where they got acquainted with innovative projects and infrastructure that support cutting-edge education and research at the university.
