On May 31st, the TSI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, iDEAHUB, hosted a dynamic pitch event where Teams presented their ideas and solutions to industry challenges. Among them were:
- “Promofy” with their idea for a platform and mobile app for smart discount retail and shopping,
- “Barobee” with a solution for an industry challenge involving a robotic cocktail-making cell,
- “Jointy” with the idea of a universal affordable exoskeleton for workers involved in manual labor and heavy lifting,
And others.
The iDEAHUB First Call 2024 competition attracted students from various universities and technical colleges, both experienced residents, who had already implemented their prototypes in iDEAHUB, and entirely new Teams took part.
The next step involves the jury deciding which teams will receive iDEAHUB support, including grants, scholarships, mentoring, lab access, and much more.
