TSI welcomes Erasmus+ students

Despite travel restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) welcomes 15 Erasmus+ programme exchange students for the Spring semester of studies at TSI. The students are coming from different Erasmus+  partner universities: University of Nantes (France), Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics (Turkey), University College of Business in Prague (Czech Republic), the University of Bremen (Germany) and the University of Murcia (Spain).

During the time when Covid-19 restrictions are in force, the students will study remotely and all necessary support will be provided for them – both, for academic and administrative matters.

In addition, in order for students to efficiently integrate into Latvian society and TSI study environment, students took part in a virtual induction week and remotely attended various events and lectures, where they had an opportunity to learn about TSI as well as Latvia and its culture and traditions.

Within the framework of Erasmus+ programme, exchange students are all offered to learn the basics of the Latvian language.
