On April 2, 2020, Rector of TSI Juris Kanels participated in a video conference of university rectors with the Minister of Education and Science Ilga Suplinska. During the remote conference, the work of higher education institutions in emergency situations and the provision of remote learning processes were discussed.
The conference highlighted the issues of organization of study practice in higher education institutions during an emergency situation, the organization of state and final examinations as well as the new student enrolment in 2020/2021 study year. In all the mentioned issues, J.Kanels informed the management of the Ministry of Education and Science about the opinion of TSI.
