Last week our graduates Alexey Lomovtsev and Arturs Kairis, who completed the Electronics Bachelor’s study programme in 2011, visited the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI). The graduates told about their careers and introduced the company they work for – SIA Technomatic. The company deals with the full cycle of software development for industrial controllers and robots, with a commissioning phase and subsequent service support.
Together with the head of the Telecommunications, Electronics and Robotics Centre (TERC), Professor Aleksandr Krainukov, the graduates visited the laboratories and checked out the new equipment. The purpose of the visit of the graduates and now industry representatives to their alma mater was to develop cooperation, provide internships for students and participate in scientific and other events and projects.
