Science, Technology, Innovation – What study fields are most demand?

The International Education Fair Skola 2020 took place from February 28 to March 1, 2020, with the active participation of the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI).  In the exhibition participated 105 educational institutions and organizations from 14 countries and the exhibition was attended by more than 20, 000 people.

The motto of the TSI was Science, Technology, Innovation, which was also reflected in the design and content of the stand – various robots, a 3D printer, student-made innovative solutions and of course, LED light magic! Exhibition visitors also had the opportunity to meet our students and teachers, as well as this year for the first time our talisman robot NAO took part in the exhibition, which  caused a lot of excitement among the visitors. Talisman NAO with pleasure took pictures with everyone, giving them sweet souvenirs!

Most visitors to the TSI stand were from Riga, Tukums, Sigulda, Daugavpils and Ventspils. Pupils showed the greatest interest from Riga State Technical School, Riga 88 and Jugla Secondary School, Riga State Gymnasium No.1, No.2 and No 3., as well as from Riga 22, 33, 49, 71, 74, 75, 96 Secondary Schools and Riga Imanta, Classical Gymnasium and Kengarags Secondary Schools.
