The Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) invites you to an exciting Researchers’ Night event that takes place all over Europe! During the event, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest scientific breakthroughs, participate in the interactive lecture “Smart Life in a Modern City”, which will open our humanoid robot-teacher NAO. Later we will take a tour of the labs of TSI and also gain practical skills in experiments, and all this already on the September 30 from 17:00 EET!

During the event, our labs and aviation classes will be open for visits. You will have an opportunity to play checkers with the robot UR3, and watch how the robots pass the obstacle course designed by our students.
During the evening, our students will show you their developed innovative projects – a web platform for railway operations, storing and analysing railway maintenance data using computer vision, as well as the autonomous robot that can work autonomously in ports and city canals, cleaning and collecting the garbage and deliver it for recycling. You are welcome to ask your questions and learn more!
The event will take place at premises of the TSI – 1 Lomonosova Street, Riga.
