В 2014 году начала работать программа Европейского Союза в области поддержки спорта, образования, профессиональной подготовки молодежи Erasmus+. Программа Erasmus+ это одна из наиболее популярных программ обмена для студентов и преподавателей в области высшего образования, способствующая развитию университетов в едином пространстве Европейского Союза.
Институт транспорта и связи является участником программы ERASMUS+ с 2005 года. Каждый студент TSI, начиная со 2-го курса, имеет возможность в течение одного академического года учиться или проходить практику по своей программе в одном из иностранных вузов, с которыми у TSI заключен договор.
На сегодняшний день партнёрами TSI в рамках программы ERASMUS+ являются 50 университета
