Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) together with 2 partners from Central Baltic region started their common project “Intelligent Transport and Transport Management study module (INTELTRANS)” implementation. This project is co-funded by the European Commission’s under the INTERREG Central Baltic programme.
The Head of the project from TSI side — Prof. Igor Kabashkin.
The overall objective of this project is to help ensure that the BSR transport system is safe, resilient, seamless and environmentally friendly for citizens, companies and society as a whole. To achieve this goal, the project partners want to modernize traffic management curricula, learning processes, and learning environments so they take into account new insights and demands connected with transport infrastructure, rolling stock, driver behavior, and both the physcial and general business environment. The management of these changes is complex, but it certainly points to the need to modernize transport and traffic safety management curricula to take into account changes in vehicles and transport infrastructure and the behavior of drivers.
Period of the project: 01.04.2020. – 30.09.2022.
