On February 18, at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) was honored longtime lecturer at the Institute, internationally renowned scientist Dr.habil.sc.ing. Jurijs Tolujevs,who has been honored with the title of Emeritus Professor by decision of the Senate of TSI.
Professor Dr.habil.sc.ing. Jurijs Tolujevs is an Institute lecturer with almost 50 years of experience. Since 2004, his work has been associated with the Transport and Telecommunication Institute. At the same time, Professor J. Tolujevs has proved his high qualification at international level, working at Otto von Guericke University and the Fraunhofer Institute in Magdeburg (Germany). He is the author of 150 publications, including 140 scientific articles and 10 textbooks.
Professor J. Tolujevs is an expert in Engineering and Technology at the Latvian Council of Science in the field of construction and transport engineering and a member of the Promotion Council of TSI.
J. Tolujevs is an active participant in international scientific conferences IEEE International Conference on Logistics Operations Management, Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) and others. Also he is member of the Program Committee of International Scientific Conferences WSC and RelStat.
