Best practices for enhancing customer centricity through digital solutions

The first part of the thesis considers the concept of a customer-centric approach and the best practices of digital solutions for achieving this approach through an improved customer experience.In the second part of the thesis, the data-driven decision-making method is discussed, as well as the existing tools for analysing data and matrices for evaluating customer success. Furthermore, it examines the successful implementation of digital solutions to enhance customer experience at companies such as Netflix and Spotify.The third part of the thesis is devoted to an analysis of the Latvian online food delivery market. The analysis includes an examination of the current market situation, the identification and comparison of the main players on the market, and an identification of the needs and expectations of users. In the fourth part of the thesis, the findings of the previous sections are used to identify the best practices for digital solutions to improve the customer experience in online food delivery applications. In addition, the possible aspects to meet user needs are identified and recommendations are made.

Development of Decision Support Tool for Transport Forwarding Company Operating within Netherlands and Italy

This paper investigates the development of a decision support tool for a Latvian transportation company operating in the Dutch and Italian markets. Models and algorithms for optimizing freight routes using Excel and Python are included. Digitalization of logistics processes is recognized as a key to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Two methods for solving the traveling salesman problem were examined and compared: Excel with Solver and Python with the NetworkX library.The methodology involved collecting data from Google My Maps, creating Excel spreadsheets, and developing Python software to automate route optimization. The results showed that both methods improved route planning, reducing time and cost, as well as reducing carbon footprint.The study emphasizes the importance of integrating technologies such as machine learning and big data into logistics to increase flexibility and adaptability. Recommendations were offered to further improve and implement these technologies for sustainable business development and increased competitiveness in international markets.

Design of the concept of innovative development of the enterprise

The first part is devoted to theoretical considerations about the theory of innovation, the innovation process as a company's continuous innovative development.In the second part, it is described that vegetable cultivation is important in the agricultural sector, the main players in the market, both in the agricultural sector and in the vegetable processing markets, and the economic factors are analyzed.The third part describes the way the company operates, growing and selling vegetables, the idea and establishment of the company. What investments are needed to achieve better productivity and improve product quality.In the fourth part, the company's development plan regarding innovative developments in lyophilization, the development of management decision-making criteria, the description of the proposed company's development scenarios and the compilation, justification of the project budget, the opinion of consumers, are developed. Evaluation of the results obtained as a result of the implementation of the new concept.Practical value - the main task of developing the company's development strategy is to become an example for placing the company in a leading position and increasing productivity.

Application of machine learning in decision support system

The aim of the work is to improve the accuracy of predicting wait times in an existing queue management system using machine learning. Client-provided data was analyzed, and models were trained using various machine learning algorithms. Performance measures of the models were collected, and the best one was selected. Additionally, software and a database were developed to manage the training process and evaluate the quality of the models. The quality of the software was assessed using industry-standard methodologies and tested.

Development of a personal financial management application

Nowadays, financial management is essential in people's lives, as price increases and economic instability require more careful planning of personal finances. Technological development makes this process accessible to everyone, offering various expenditure tracking and budget planning solutions. In the bachelor's thesis, the most popular financial management applications were reviewed, showing that although they offer an intuitive interface and automated budget functions, they also have shortcomings.The goal of the work is to create an application that provides a convenient and digitally enhanced tool for financial planning and tracking. To achieve the goal, tasks included reviewing similar applications, defining requirements, creating the interface and database, developing transaction management and budgeting functionality, and testing the application. All tasks were fully completed.The application uses Python and Flask, SQLite database, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a result, an application with a clear interface was developed, providing manual transaction entry and bank account Excel format upload, editing, and deletion, as well as budget control and transaction visualizations. These functions help users manage their finances more effectively and make better decisions.
