Drone manipulator optimization and integration in affordable quadcopter

This paper explores the development of a drone-attachable manipulator designed to perform construction and maintenance tasks, moving beyond the traditional use of UAVs for monitoring. Our primary objective is to design a manipulator capable of lifting objects weighing up to 300 grams, adhering to principles of low cost, ease of manufacturing, and high quality. We begin with a literature review of UAV types and their suitability for integration with manipulators. The design process involves creating multiple manipulator prototypes using Solidworks for simulations to gather data on performance and structural integrity.Static stress and displacement analyses are conducted to identify areas of high stress and potential deformation. Initial designs demonstrate that the static force required to hold a 300-gram object exceeds the capabilities of our prototypes. The final manipulator design is tested for its lifting capabilities and operational limitations. Re The study concludes with an evaluation of the design process, limitations, and potential for future applications of UAV-integrated manipulators in infrastructure construction and maintenance

Development of Full Composite Wing for Aircraft Embraer EMB-135BJ Legacy 600

Bachelor work „ Development of Composite Wing for Embraer EMB-135 BJ Aircraft”. Author of the paper: Jevgenijs Domanskis. Scientific supervisor: Mg. sc. ing., Adham Ahmed Awad Elsayed Elmenshawy. Paper for obtaining the degree „Aviation Engineering”: 57 pp., 14 img., 20 tabl., 20 ref. AIRPLANE, WINGS, CONSTRUCTION, COMPOSITE MATERIALS, MASS CHARACTERISTICS This paper considers the use of composite materials in the design of the wings of Embraer EMB135BJ Legacy 650. The paper shows that the use of composite materials in the wings design instead of traditional aluminum alloy materials gives a reduction in weight and an increase in the aerodynamic quality of the whole aircraft, which allows to increase the flight range and duration.

Improving the Logistics Efficiency of the Construction Company 'Concrete Waves

This Theses analyzes one of the key sectors of the national economy – construction. To better understand the structure of construction costs, they are divided into three main categories: construction materials, employee wages, and machinery. Machinery can either be rented or purchased as fixed assets, thereby reducing long-term costs. The study will explore opportunities to optimize company profits through the use of fixed assets. To achieve this, profit opportunities will be compared based on whether machinery is rented or purchased as company fixed assets. A broader examination of this topic will lead to conclusions that can be valuable for new companies, helping them make well-informed and sustainable decisions.

Developing and testing strategies to reduce inventory in the finished goods warehouse

The work is devoted to the problem of reducing the level of inventory in the finished goods warehouse of an industrial enterprise. This problem is urgent, because today there are no universal mathematical models or algorithms that can be applied to any enterprise without any changes. This problem belongs to the area of inventory management, but its specificity is that only own-produced products enter the warehouse. The theoretical part of the work gives an overview of methods of inventory management and organisation of production, in which most of the products belong to the category “for the warehouse”. The main content of the work is an experimental study of a dynamic inventory management method based on short-term commodity demand forecast analysis. Decisions on the size and timing of replenishment of the warehouse are made using a specially developed algorithm. The paper describes the stages of creation, verification and application of a simulation model, which is used to study the dynamics of stock in the warehouse during a year in a company that produces plastic profiles for window constructions. As a result of simulation experiments, an algorithm was found, using which the maximum stock level is the lowest and differs from competing variants by 20-50 percent.
