Evaluation of Personnel Training System in an Organization

Personnel training is crucial for enhancing organizational performance and achieving strategic objectives. Evaluating training programs involves analyzing the knowledge gained, skills acquired, and overall employee development. This evaluation helps determine whether financial investments in training are justified and predicts the rationality of further investments.This research aims to evaluate training programs in airlines, focusing on their unique training systems and developing recommendations for improvement. The study has three main objectives:• Explore theoretical aspects of personnel training systems in modern enterprises, emphasizing the concept of a learning organization.• Analyze and evaluate existing personnel training programs through case studies of two organizations.• Develop recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of personnel training systems.The analysis of theoretical aspects and existing training systems highlights current strengths and weaknesses. Based on these insights, specific recommendations have been developed to improve personnel training programs. These guide HR managers in optimizing training practices and fostering continuous improvement, enhancing individual performance, and contributing to the organization's strategic objectives.

Role and impact of Social Entrepreneurship in Latvia

The bachelor thesis structure consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, and a list of references, the aim of which is to determine the level of familiarity with SE (Social Entrepreneurship) that the Baltic country (Latvia) has now and compare it to the European level.The first chapter aims to explain the definition and history of Social Entrepreneurship's evolution. It provides a detailed description of how and when it started at the international level and provides more information about its formation in Latvia.The second chapter describes the social enterprises that are working and located in Latvia. This section encompasses not only the enterprises based in Latvia but also those with international recognition in Europe. It also describes the financial part.The third and last chapter is the research part, which contains research analysis: questionnaire results from 2021 and 2024 and a comparative analysis of two studies from 2021 and 2024.

Best practices for enhancing customer centricity through digital solutions

The first part of the thesis considers the concept of a customer-centric approach and the best practices of digital solutions for achieving this approach through an improved customer experience.In the second part of the thesis, the data-driven decision-making method is discussed, as well as the existing tools for analysing data and matrices for evaluating customer success. Furthermore, it examines the successful implementation of digital solutions to enhance customer experience at companies such as Netflix and Spotify.The third part of the thesis is devoted to an analysis of the Latvian online food delivery market. The analysis includes an examination of the current market situation, the identification and comparison of the main players on the market, and an identification of the needs and expectations of users. In the fourth part of the thesis, the findings of the previous sections are used to identify the best practices for digital solutions to improve the customer experience in online food delivery applications. In addition, the possible aspects to meet user needs are identified and recommendations are made.

Increasing the productivity efficiency of the company using the example of as Latvijas Finieris plant Lignums

The bachelor thesis studies the increase of production efficiency at JSC "Latvijas Finieris" factory Lignums, using theoretical approaches and practical solutions. The aim of the thesis is to find out how efficiency improvement can change the structure of the company and improve its competitiveness.The bachelor thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters. The first chapter provides a theoretical investigation of improving production efficiency using different theories and methods. The second chapter describes the operation of the Lignums factory, including its history, structure and current situation. Chapter 3 provides a detailed study and analysis of the production process using in-house programmes and the results of an employee survey. The paper uses a variety of research methods: descriptive analysis, expert interviews, loss optimization techniques, financial analysis and sociological surveys.The conclusions are based on the data and theoretical reviews and provide suggestions for improving production efficiency. The study offers practical solutions to help improve the company's performance and increase its competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.

Factors affecting customer loyalty in the logistics service
industry

In this study the author conducted a survey among 68 employees of different companies, 31 of them representing logistics companies and 37 employees of companies that are users of these services in order to analyze the obtained data using the PLS-SEM method and to identify the key factors affecting the formation of customer loyalty. Based on the identified factors the author proposes a concept of measures to increase customer loyalty of small road freight transportation companies in Latvia.Chapter 1 provides theoretical information on the process of selecting a logistics service provider and a description of the factors used in this process. The basics of the creation of customer loyalty and measures to increase it were also considered.Chapter 2 includes the analysis of the freight transportation market in Latvia, analysis of logistics companies in Latvia and analysis of the data obtained from the survey.Chapter 3 contains a statistical model showing the most important factors affecting customer loyalty of logistic companies. Based on the statistical model, a concept of measures to increase customer loyalty of small logistics companies is proposed.
