Digital Marketing Activities of the "Lowine" Company

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to offer “Lowine” wine bar different, digital marketing activities to attract customers. These activities will be developed based on literature review, interview with expert, potential customer survey, best practices wine bars and wine restaurants in Latvia and in the United States of America. The research results can be useful for the marketing managers of the wine bars (category of mean sum 40-50EUR in the Baltics capitals).The recommendations developed by the author of this bachelor thesis is aimed to engage the customers, increase business activity and improve a small enterprise business performance. The practical significance of this study lies in providing small business owners with valuable insights into the effective use of e-marketing.

Analyzing the impact of the economic environment on LLC "Rimi Latvia" market position

The bachelor thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter presents the theoretical aspects of the analysis of the company's financial position. A company's financial condition is important to assess its stability and development potential and is affected by both internal and external factors, including economic conditions.The second chapter describes the activities of SIA "Rimi Latvia". The main competitors of the company are described and compared according to financial aspects. Market analysis examines the various external and internal factors that affect a company's performance, such as social, technological, economic and competitive factors.The third chapter assesses the financial position of SIA "Rimi Latvia" and, based on the results, compares the company's performance with the performance of its main competitors. The operation of SIA "Rimi Latvia" is affected by several external factors, including economic factors (the COVID-19 pandemic, war in Ukraine, price increases, new competitors entering the market), social factors (change in buyer habits, demand for different products) and technological factors (e- proliferation of commerce, growth of mobile apps and online services).

Role of Social Media in Promoting Ecotourism

Keywords ECOTOURISM, SOCIAL MEDIA, PROMOTION, INDIAThe research aim is to assess the impact of social media on boosting ecotourism in India. The subject of the research is impact of social media on improving the attractiveness of ecotourism in India. The object of the research is ecotourism in India. Research objectives are as follows: to conduct theoretical analysis regarding the social media and their impact on promoting ecotourism; to conduct industry analysis regarding the ecotourism in India; to develop an empirical research methodology and complete survey and interviews regarding the impact of social media on ecotourism attractiveness; to provide recommendations for the managers involved in ecotourism aimed at improving the attractiveness of ecotourism by means of social media. The results show that there is a significant social media role in transforming the landscape of tourism, particularly in the context of sustainable tourism and ecotourism promotion. The social media inspire people to choose ecotourism if the content is engaging, visually rich and including practical information; they serve as a source of information providing details about destinations, available activities, accommodations and transportation options, and impact decision-making.

Alternative energy sources in Latvia and their impact on social well-being.

Rapid climate change as well as the geopolitical situation in the world are encouraging the spread and development of "green" energy sources not only at a national level but also in the household sector. This is why alternative energy sources have become increasingly popular in recent years.This study shows the use of alternative energy sources in Latvia and the Baltic States, their patterns, and development opportunities. The results of the analysis of the statistical databases of the Baltic countries show the trends towards alternative energy sources in recent years.The study has highlighted the importance of improving the energy efficiency of buildings alongside the increasing trend towards alternative energy sources and the support programs that have been set up for this purpose. This Research is based on plans, regulations, and laws to increase the use of alternative energy sources and reduce gas emissions.This study evaluates the impact of the development and deployment of alternative energy sources on households and the benefits they can gain.

Comparative Analysis of Higher Education in Latvia, Estonia and Finland

The bachelor thesis consists of 4 chapters, the aim of which is to conduct a comparative analysis of the Latvian, Estonian and Finnish case studies by exploring and selecting criteria for the evaluation of higher education.The first chapter will help to understand the quality aspects of higher education in Latvia, Estonia and Finland, as well as to get basic information about the number of students, universities in the selected countries.The second chapter of the thesis aims at exploring and defining the criteria for the evaluation of higher education in order to provide an objective assessment of the quality of higher education.The third chapter is devoted to collecting information on selected evaluation criteria for higher education in Latvia, Estonia and Finland. It will describe indicators such as: curricula relevance to the Bologna Process, presence of international students, employment rate of graduates, international reputation and university rankings, access to higher education.The last chapter of the thesis focuses on the comparative analysis of the selected evaluation criteria, which emerges from the information described in the third chapter of the thesis.
