The use of a multi-fenestron tail rotor system on a helicopter to improve flight safety

Safety of helicopter tail rotor flights depends largely on the reliability of the tail rotor control system. Tail rotor damage and failure in many cases can lead to catastrophic consequences. Helicopters having a fenestron have certain advantages over helicopters having a conventional tail rotor in terms of safety and reliability, but failure of the fenestron can also lead to catastrophic consequences. In order to improve the safety and reliability of a helicopter that has a tail rotor to compensate the reactive torque of the main rotor, a multi-fenestron control system is proposed in this undergraduate work. Within the framework of this work, conceptual design of the helicopter with multi-fenestration system, which has features, and as a result, an algorithm for designing a helicopter with multi-fenestration system was developed. In this work, also evaluated the level of improvement of safety and reliability of the helicopter with a multi-fenestration system in comparison with the traditional scheme, calculations showed the provision of a high level of reliability for a sufficiently long operating period.

Assessment of the technical condition of the air conditioning system of a passenger aircraft during operation

The air conditioning system is one of the most important life support systems in an aircraft, therefore the assessment of technical condition and maintenance of reliability at an appropriate level are of great importance in ensuring flight safety. Thesis evaluates the technical condition of the air conditioning system of short flight passenger aircraft. To solve the tasks, the author has developed a prototype of a short flights passenger transportation aircraft and proposed an air conditioning system scheme and calculated the structural reliability of the air conditioning system for one flight shift. This work has practical application and the approaches described can be used to assess the reliability and technical condition of the aircraft during exploitation.

Application of an autonomous taxiing system, on a medium-range passenger aircraft

Currently, among the issues that most concern airlines are controlling operating costs and reducing harmful impacts on the environment. One solution to reduce fuel costs and reduce environmental impact is the use of an electric green taxiing system, which can save several hundred thousand dollars per aircraft per year, thereby increasing overall business profitability while reducing the negative impact on the environment. Wednesday. This bachelor's thesis proposes an autonomous aircraft taxiing system based on the EGTS concept, however, it is proposed to use a hydromechanical system rather than electric motors to drive the landing gear wheels. The work presents a design solution for this system for a designed prototype aircraft and calculation of the main parameters of the taxiing system. This system may have practical applications.
