AIRPLANE, WINGS, CONSTRUCTION, COMPOSITE MATERIALS, MASS CHARACTERISTICS This paper considers the use of composite materials in the design of the wings of Embraer EMB135BJ Legacy 650. The paper shows that the use of composite materials in the wings design instead of traditional aluminum alloy materials gives a reduction in weight and an increase in the aerodynamic quality of the whole aircraft, which allows to increase the flight range and duration.
