Improving the performance of logistics company using CRM and other techniques.

This thesis delves into the implementation and impact of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems within the logistics industry, with a detailed case study of Orion Lift. The research encompasses a thorough financial analysis and logistical performance evaluation post-CRM integration. Orion Lift, a local logistics company, faced several operational challenges, including inefficiencies in customer management and high operational costs. By integrating a CRM system, the company aimed to streamline its processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve overall business performance.Financial metrics were meticulously calculated before and after the CRM implementation. The results indicate substantial improvements across all metrics, with notable increases in revenue and customer retention rates, and reductions in operational costs and customer acquisition costs. The thesis also discusses the potential financial and operational benefits of CRM systems, supported by comparative analysis with other effective CRM implementations in the logistics sector. Overall, the thesis provides a comprehensive assessment of the benefits of CRM systems in logistics, using Orion Lift as a case study.

Best practices for enhancing customer centricity through digital solutions

The first part of the thesis considers the concept of a customer-centric approach and the best practices of digital solutions for achieving this approach through an improved customer experience.In the second part of the thesis, the data-driven decision-making method is discussed, as well as the existing tools for analysing data and matrices for evaluating customer success. Furthermore, it examines the successful implementation of digital solutions to enhance customer experience at companies such as Netflix and Spotify.The third part of the thesis is devoted to an analysis of the Latvian online food delivery market. The analysis includes an examination of the current market situation, the identification and comparison of the main players on the market, and an identification of the needs and expectations of users. In the fourth part of the thesis, the findings of the previous sections are used to identify the best practices for digital solutions to improve the customer experience in online food delivery applications. In addition, the possible aspects to meet user needs are identified and recommendations are made.

Use of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management

The integration of Artificial Intelligence into Human Resource Management processes presents an evolving domain of exploration and practical application. The widespread adoption of AI technologies presents the potential for significant transformations in products, innovation processes and business models. The research aim is to develop a framework for effective use of AI in Human Resource Management. The subject of the research is AI-based solutions in Human Resource Management. The object of the research is Human Resource Management processes in an enterprise.A multifaceted research approach was used to scrutinize the effective utilization of AI in HRM: Literature review, Case Studies, Employee Surveys, Interviews with HR experts.During this research, the author highlighted aspects of contemporary HRM that can be improved using AI technologies; made a list of the recommended practices for integrating AI-based solutions into HRM; developed a framework for AI tools implementation and found out that HR experts’ and employees’ overall perspective on AI within HRM appears optimistic.This research holds both theoretical and practical significance, driving advancements in theoretical knowledge, informing organizational practices, and shaping the future of work in the digital age.

Implementation of Variable Pitch Angle Fan Blades on Gas Turbine Engine

This diploma thesis explores methods to enhance the efficiency of gas turbine engines with a focus on high bypass ratio engines. The study is structured around three objectives: (1) reviewing the principles, and advancements of gas turbine engines, (2) analyzing the design features and challenges of high bypass ratio engines, and (3) developing a variable pitch angle fan mechanism to optimize performance.The analysis of high bypass ratio engines details and their advantages, while addressing challenges in thermal management and cooling. The study successfully proposes a conceptual design for a variable pitch angle fan, demonstrating its potential to adapt to varying flight conditions and enhance overall engine efficiency.The findings suggest integrate innovative cooling, sealing technologies, and advanced control systems can significantly improve performance. The proposed variable pitch angle fan mechanism shows promising results in optimizing engine efficiency. This thesis concludes that the implementation of these advancements can achieve a notable increase in gas turbine engine efficiency, contributing to the advancement of aviation technology. Future research should continue to refine these solutions and explore additional methods to enhance engine performance.
