Improving the performance of logistics company using CRM and other techniques.

This thesis delves into the implementation and impact of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems within the logistics industry, with a detailed case study of Orion Lift. The research encompasses a thorough financial analysis and logistical performance evaluation post-CRM integration. Orion Lift, a local logistics company, faced several operational challenges, including inefficiencies in customer management and high operational costs. By integrating a CRM system, the company aimed to streamline its processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve overall business performance.Financial metrics were meticulously calculated before and after the CRM implementation. The results indicate substantial improvements across all metrics, with notable increases in revenue and customer retention rates, and reductions in operational costs and customer acquisition costs. The thesis also discusses the potential financial and operational benefits of CRM systems, supported by comparative analysis with other effective CRM implementations in the logistics sector. Overall, the thesis provides a comprehensive assessment of the benefits of CRM systems in logistics, using Orion Lift as a case study.

Increasing the productivity efficiency of the company using the example of as Latvijas Finieris plant Lignums

The bachelor thesis studies the increase of production efficiency at JSC "Latvijas Finieris" factory Lignums, using theoretical approaches and practical solutions. The aim of the thesis is to find out how efficiency improvement can change the structure of the company and improve its competitiveness.The bachelor thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters. The first chapter provides a theoretical investigation of improving production efficiency using different theories and methods. The second chapter describes the operation of the Lignums factory, including its history, structure and current situation. Chapter 3 provides a detailed study and analysis of the production process using in-house programmes and the results of an employee survey. The paper uses a variety of research methods: descriptive analysis, expert interviews, loss optimization techniques, financial analysis and sociological surveys.The conclusions are based on the data and theoretical reviews and provide suggestions for improving production efficiency. The study offers practical solutions to help improve the company's performance and increase its competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.

Assessment of the investment attractiveness of a Low-Cost Airline

The current study aims to assess the investment attractiveness of low-cost airline company based on the analysis of its financial performance.To achieve the research aim, the following research objectives are set;1. To study the role of investments in the development of the aviation industry in a rapidly changing environment. 2. To examine traditional appraisal techniques that can be used to assess investment attractiveness of a company and develop assessment methodology which can be applicable to the case company.3. To analyze the case company current financial position and define the main factors influencing the company’s investment attractiveness. 4. To apply the assessment methodology and evaluate the investment attractiveness of the case company.5. To provide recommendations for improving the investment attractiveness of the case company.Research base is the EasyJet Ltd airline. The findings and recommendations are addressed to the case company's management and may be useful for any other low-cost company in this industry.
