The relevance of the Master's thesis is based on the shortage of human resources and the ageing workforce in the transport sector.The topic of the thesis is Human Resource Management in Passenger Transport: Problem Analysis and Strategies for Overcoming the Challenges of the Modern Transport Sector. Professional Master's degree in Transport and Business Logistics and qualification as Manager in Transport and Business Logistics. "Transport is that sector of the economy without which no other production plant can exist, not even the most ordinary grocery store", says Sprancmanis (Sprancmanis, 2001)Effective human resource management is one of the most important factors for future development, as effective human resource management is essential for the competitiveness and long-term relationship of the transport sector. The management of human resources problems contributes directly to improving productivity, service quality and economic sustainability in passenger transport.The transport sector faces a number of human resource challenges, including an ageing workforce, under-qualified staff and the need to constantly adapt to technological change.
