TSI bachelor’s, master’s and PhD students participated in the delightful summer school programme at Istanbul Aydin University (Turkey). This was an amazing time for two weeks with new knowledge and cultural experience from 200 participants from 34 different countries all over the world.
TSI students participated in the “Multi-criteria Decision Making” course, where they had a thrilling experience solving and implementing decision-making techniques in real life.
Our professors were knowledgeable and approachable, making complex concepts easier to understand. The university staff were amazing and always here to help with any questions and concerns, making us feel comfortable and welcome. I am very thankful to the TSI university for making this incredible experience possible
– said Sreelakshmi Karunakaran, TSI student of the master’s programme Transport and Logistics
Mr Gurkan Donat and Mr Yazıd Yahya Salem Munsari from the Istanbul Aydin University prepared a super well-organized programme that perfectly combined academic learning with cultural experiences. Outside of class, students and staff of the TSI can explore so much of Istanbul – from visiting the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace to taking a cruise on the Bosphorus and Vialand theme park.
TSI representatives met with the president of Istanbul Aydin University, Dr. Mustafa Aydin and discussed the possibilities of future cooperation between the two universities.
