Taxes are the financial basis of a modern state and at the same time one of the significant types of company expenses. Due to the fact that the procedure and formulas for calculating the tax are determined by normative acts, it is necessary to be able to interpret the normative acts and switch from the legal language to the form familiar to economists. The course is designed for company executives, budding accountants, and other financial professionals. The goal of the course is to help you get a general or expanded understanding of the Latvian tax system, as well as navigate the numerous regulatory acts in the field of taxation, the application of which and the calculation of taxes are explained by numerous practical examples and situations in the company's activities.
